- Though often sold as a tool for making government “run like a business,” such proposals actually undercut the health and effectiveness of public services.
- From their inaccurate assessments of inflation and population growth to their failure to account for federal and judicial mandates, “Taxpayers’ Protection Acts” are an idea whose time has come and gone.
