Please come to a special NC Policy Watch Crucial Conversation lunch:
Duke’s controversial "Save-A-Watt"program
Find out why a diverse group of social justice, consumer rights and environmental groups are telling the North Carolina Utilities Commission that it's a bad deal for the more than 1.5 million served by the Charlotte-based utility company and a potentially dangerous precedent for all North Carolinians.
Featuring:
Roger Colton, nationally recognized attorney, consumer advocate and public utilities expert.
Shana Becker, staff attorney with the N.C. Public Interest Research Group and Director of the organization’s Utilities Watchdog Project.
When: Thursday July 31 at 12:00 noon
Where: Marbles Kids Museum (formerly Exploris) in downtown Raleigh at the corner of Blount and Hargett Streets. Click here for directions and parking .
