Health reform ‘myths’ decried

ASHEVILLE — Advocates for health care reform at a downtown rally Saturday made some of their more salient points with the handmade signs they carried.

“Being Poor Should Not Be a Death Sentence.”

“Facts not Falsehoods.”

“Health Care for All is a Moral Issue.”

“I'm Public and I Need an Option.”

“Insure People, Not Profits.”

The rally in Asheville's Pritchard Park was one of four held across the state at the urging of the N.C. Justice Center to promote passage of health care reform legislation pending in Congress. (more…)
