ASHEVILLE — Annie Jones spends most of her time these days at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College, drilling holes into chunks of metal.
The work takes skill. Jones and her nine classmates will spend their 13-week fast track machinists’ training course studying trigonometry and perfecting precision drills on hulking machinery. (more…)
