New Study to show 1 in 5 women has Toxic Levels of Mercury in her Body!
On February 8, the University of North Carolina is going to be releasing its findings on the effects of mercury in the U.S. population – the largest sample size of any study to date. The study of over 8,000 participants shows an even higher incidence of mercury poisoning (one out of every five women of childbearing age have enough mercury to put a fetus at risk) than what EPA is saying (one out of every six).
Give yourself a healthy Valentine and get tested for mercury on February 15!
We’ll be holding an event at Modern Salon and Spa at the Hearst Tower uptown from 1-3pm on Wednesday, February 15th. The salon’s trained stylists will take a small sample of hair and it will be sent to the UNCA lab for mercury testing.
Appointment recommended. Please call 704-374-1125 to sign up.
Free parking available inside Hearst Tower, which can be entered from 5th and 6th streets, off College Street.
