PUBLIC FORUM: Education Rights in NC: What Your Child Deserves and How to Get It!

A public forum, Education Rights in NC: What Your Child Deserves and How to Get It!, will be held on Saturday, March 18, 10 am to 12 pm, at Downeast Partnership for Children, 215 Lexington St., Rocky Mount, NC. The forum will examine three issues all parents and guardians must understand in order to ensure children are getting the quality education that is their right.
- Diploma Pathways
- Personal Education Plans
- The Leandro ruling and school suspensions
This event is free and open to the public. The forum is jointly sponsored by North Carolina Community Advocates for Revitalizing Education (NCCARE), Advocates for Children’s Services, the UNC Center for Civil Rights and the North Carolina Justice Center.
