Butterfield pushes for minimum wage hike

U.S. Rep. G.K. Butterfield says he’s hopeful the House will vote for a federal minimum wage increase.
Butterfield said Congress owes it to the people "suffering in poverty" to make every effort to pass a wage hike bill.
Butterfield said that while the costs of housing, health care, education and energy has been rising dramatically over the last nine years, the federal minimum wage has held steady. (more…)
