South Caldwell’s Sovereign Alliance for Youth (SAY) has made great strides in meeting the needs of student determined to be “at-risk” since its inception two years ago. The fruits of the program’s labors have been recognized by the group that funds the SAY project.
Representatives from the N.C. Governor’s Crime Commission and the N.C. Department or Crime Control and Public Safety have awarded South Caldwell’s SAY program with a Safe Communities Award, one of just six given out by the commission every three years.more…
