Burr proposes April sales tax holiday to boost national economy

RALEIGH, N.C. — Sen. Richard Burr has offered an economic stimulus plan that he said is designed to boost spending by encouraging the states to hold sales tax holidays in April. The North Carolina Republican introduced a bill in Congress that would establish a sales tax holiday from April 4th through the 13th. (more…)
