3 commit to gubernatorial debate in Greenville

Three candidates in North Carolina's gubernatorial primary races have committed to a debate in Greenville. Republicans Bob Orr, Pat McCrory and Fred Smith each accepted invitations from WITN-TV and Inner Banks Media to participate in a March 27 debate to be held in East Carolina University's Brody School of Medicine Auditorium, Henry Hinton, Inner Banks Media president, said.
Democratic hopefuls Lt. Gov. Beverly Perdue and State Treasurer Richard Moore have not officially confirmed along with Bill Graham, the fourth Republican candidate. (more…)
