Four term Gov. Jim Hunt said he was troubled by ads run by Treasurer Richard Moore against Lt. Gov. Beverly Perdue in the Democratic race for governor.
Hunt, speaking in an interview with WRAL, said he disapproved of negative ads run by both candidates in the race. He said recent ads by Moore challenging Perdue's record on civil rights and minorities' issues "crossed the line." He defended both candidates. (more…)
