Richard Moore, candidate for the Democratic nomination for governor:
As long as Congress refuses to take steps that would end or limit incentives competition between states, North Carolina must act to recruit and retain businesses that are willing to make significant investments here. As governor, I will work with the National Governors Association to lobby Congress for the type of change that will end this expensive competition. But until that effort is successful, we need every tool in the toolbox to bring good, high-paying jobs to communities across North Carolina. (more…)
