A Special Hearing on Capital Punishment: Perspectives at the Death House Door

A panel of experts, elected officials, and religious leaders will discuss the current issues surrounding the death penalty such as: wrongful conviction, racial justice and lethal injection. Each discussion will be introduced by a clip of the Independent Film Channel’s new documentary “At the Death House Door”, slated for broadcast premiere on May 29th at 9pm EST, tells the story of Carroll Pickett, the Chaplin for the Texas Department of Corrections from 1982-1995 who counseled 95 inmates executed by lethal injection.
