Elon Poll finds mixed views on school vouchers

Opponents of school vouchers outnumber those who support them, though neither group is in the majority, according to an Elon University Poll taken last week.
Voucher programs typically involve use of government money to help families send students to private schools. The poll defines use of vouchers as "a program that provides parents a fixed dollar amount per year to send their child to the private or religious school of their choice." (more…)
