More Easley Cabinet members won’t return

RALEIGH, N.C. - At least four more members of Gov. Mike Easley's Cabinet aren't planning to stick around when successor Beverly Perdue arrives next month.
The News & Observer of Raleigh reported Thursday that Administration Secretary Britt Cobb and an aide to Commerce Secretary Jim Fain said they're stepping down from their posts. The newspaper also said Juvenile Justice Secretary George Sweat and Correction Secretary Theodis Beck are retiring. (more…)
