Rep. Jones on 3rd anniversary of Citizens United

This week marks the third anniversary of the Supreme Court’s ruling on Citizens United making political spending a form of protected speech.

U.S. Rep. Walter Jones calls that 2010 decision "one of the worst decision by the Supreme Court in my adult life time." Jones says Citizens United opened the floodgates of special interests money in the 2012 campaigns, creating the perception that elected officials are bankrolled by and beholden to the Political Action Committees.

Rep. Jones joins us this week on News & Views to discuss his efforts in the 113th Congress to change the current system, and expand public financing.
